It snowed... again :D

Just as i thought winter is over and spring is here, london has had the "heaviest snowfall for almost a decade" on thursday according to thelondonpaper.

I didnt get to take many pics the last time it snowed due to lab... so this time i'm not gonna let the opportunity slip away!

hehe... so i checked the weather forecast the day before, and decided to wake up early to take pictures of the snow! It's funny cos i set my alarm to ring at 4am but it didnt, and i was dreaming about snow hahahah... when the dream finished, i just suddenly woke up at 445am and there was already about an inch of snow. hehe happy-nyer.

snow

more snow

even more snow

The good thing bout being there early is that the walkways and some roads are still covered with snow (ppl come sprinkle salt and dirt to melt the snow and make the walkways less slippery in the morning)...

my footprints hehe in the middle of the road... car covered in snow...hehe left a mark

And to my surprise, after a while 2 ppl came out of my hall, also to see the snow! Haha so we had a snow fight and made a snowman.

And then they decided to go back and i was gonna go to hyde park when i realised my camera lense had water vapour on the inside. horror! so i had to walk back to the hall to dry it. i needed to dry it fast so i used the oven. hehe. yea it works.

rubbishbin

rubbish also looks nice hahaha

Then i set off again to Hyde Park/ Kensington Gardens, actually wanted to catch the sunrise but the sun rose without me realising, as in couldnt see the sun lar hahaha.

flowers in snow near the entrance to kensington gardens

Maybe cos it was early and there werent many ppl around, or maybe cos it was white all around, i felt really calm when walking in the park.

trees in snow man and dog ppl and dog

And there was this old lady who gave me a very kind and grandmother-like smile when i smiled at her. awwwwww.

there she is.

more trees look at the field of snow... man with 4 dogs old couple and dog sign covered with snow

oh and i saw a large group of riders... like 2o+ of them riding in a line... i was quite far and by the time i ran there i only caught the last few...

and more trees... hehe

Anyway i took more pictures hehe but it was so cold i got worried whether my ears would drop off. Oh and there were ppl swimming at the Serpentine. Apparently they do this everyday, and if u refer to my earlier post about what I did on Christmas Day, these ppl have a swimming competition every Christmas, known as the Peter Pan Cup.

Ya it was at about this point when my camera ran out of battery :( wanted see more of hyde park but well, no choice lar.. had to go back to charge my battery. it was about 830am at that time and the settled snow was melting d.. although it was still snowing but it wasnt that white anymore.

Was too lazy to go out again after i got back, so took pictures at my window. hahah no need to walk. well the snow continued to fall until well after 11am.

if u look carefully the little white bits are snow tried to take pics of snowflakes... but most of them turned out blur the only non-blur one is broken :(

Anyway thought it would snow again the next day... but it didnt. so disappointed lar. but haha quite happy d...
